I tried signing in, and although I have entered my password, I keep getting the message "Sorry, we're having trouble verifying your account. Please try again."

Where and how do I reset it? I've googled it and apparently its somewhere in settings. I have signed in on Edge but I cant see anything.

Help!

To reset your Microsoft Authenticator app after getting a new phone, you will need to have another administrator reset your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) settings if you are not the only administrator. Here are the steps to follow:

    1. Ask an Administrator for Help: If you are not the only admin, request another admin to reset your MFA settings. They can do this by:
    2. If You Are the Only Administrator: If you are the only admin, you can delete your existing sign-in methods directly in a web browser:
      • Go to https://aka.ms/mysecurityinfo to view your sign-in methods.
      • Delete any sign-in methods associated with your old phone.
      • After deletion, you can set up the Microsoft Authenticator app on your new phone by following the setup process again.
    3. Re-register the Authenticator App: Once the old sign-in methods are deleted, you can re-register the Authenticator app on your new phone. Follow the prompts in the app to set it up with your account.

If you continue to have trouble, consider checking if you have multiple verification methods configured and try signing in again using a different method.
