When ACS UI Chat Mobile SDKs will be officially released? Does Microsoft have the official commitment to do so, or they were experimental?

ACS UI Library for Android last beta was 2 years ago: https://github.com/Azure/communication-ui-library-android/blob/main/docs/CHANGELOG_UI_CHAT.md
Microsoft does not recommend using them for production:
However, it is completely unclear what Microsoft's commitment is to promoting those SDKs to the official releases, nether the time of the official UI SDK releases.
Are those UI SDKs dead, given no activities on the referenced GitHub repositories above?

Thank you for reaching out. I understand your concerns regarding the ACS UI Chat Mobile SDKs. As of November 26, 2025, here is the most recent update:
Current Status
- iOS ChatComposite is still at version 1.0.0-beta.5, with the last update in May 2025.
- Android ChatComposite has not received any new beta releases for over two years, since around 2023.
- Both versions are available as previews only, without an SLA, and may include breaking changes.

Roadmap & Commitment
- Microsoft has not provided an official commitment or timeline for general availability.
- These SDKs are currently offered as experimental previews and have had limited recent updates.
- There has been no official announcement regarding deprecation; they remain as preview features and may change.
- We would advise to check the ACS “What’s New” page for future updates.

We would suggest
- Use the GA Azure Communication Services Chat SDK and build a custom UI.
- This approach is fully supported, regularly updated, and offers full control over design and performance.

It will take a LOT more effort for mobile app developers to build a chat experience based on "GA Azure Communication Services Chat SDK and build a custom UI" as you advised. This was the purpose of the UI SDK - to simplify this path.
I would expect that Microsoft shall provide their official roadmap to the product they initiated as opposed to leaving the developers in limbo for many months in the iOS case and 2 years for Android.
Is there any way for the moderators of this forum to reach Microsoft officially and have clarity?
If the UI SDK is dead, then Microsoft should officially acknowledge the situation, and developers can look for alternatives (including competitor messaging products). However, if Microsoft is still interested in continuing the UI SDK, we can plan accordingly.
