How can I access my authenticator account if I have a new phone and did not log out of the authenticator app on my old device?

I have got a new Iphone and before i reset my old phone i did not log out of the authenticator app. Now i am trying to log into my university account on the app on my new phone, i cannot as it is asking for me to authenticate the login using the app (to which i am trying to log into)
