Got my recovery key from my account and entered it and all that happens is I get asked to enter the key again. Computer wont restart it always says an error occurred. Went into the command prompt and successfully unlocked drive and tried to continue to windows 11 but got sent back to the blue screen again, asking for my key again. I know I have the right keys and it works in the command prompt fine but windows still wont start. I'm at a loss, my PC is just useless right now and it's incredibly frustrating.

It sounds like you're experiencing a frustrating issue with BitLocker on your Windows 11 PC. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. Check the Recovery Key: Ensure that the recovery key you are entering is indeed the correct one. Sometimes, users may have multiple keys, so double-check that you are using the right one associated with your device.
    2. BIOS/UEFI Settings: Make sure that the BIOS or UEFI firmware settings allow for USB drives to be read in the pre-boot environment if you are using a USB recovery key. If USB support is disabled, you may not be able to read the key.
    3. Boot Order: Check the boot order in the BIOS/UEFI settings to ensure that your hard drive is prioritized over any other devices. Sometimes, having a CD/DVD drive before the hard drive can cause boot issues.
    4. Repair Startup: You can try using the Windows Recovery Environment to perform a startup repair. Boot from a Windows installation media and select "Repair your computer" > "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > "Startup Repair".
    5. Command Prompt: Since you mentioned using the command prompt, you might want to try additional commands such as chkdsk to check for disk errors or bootrec /fixmbr and bootrec /fixboot to repair the boot sector.
    6. System Restore: If you have a restore point created before the issue occurred, you can try restoring your system to that point.
    7. Seek Professional Help: If none of the above steps work, it may be beneficial to consult with a professional or reach out to Microsoft Support for further assistance.

If you continue to experience issues, it could be a more complex problem related to the BitLocker configuration or the hardware itself.
