Authenticator sends to obsolete email address

Although my current email address is entered correctly in my account, Authenticator will only sed approval requests to an obsolete email address that was terminated years ago. Kindly correct and/or coach me on how to do it .

Remove the obsolete address from your sign‑in/MFA profile: go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info (or account.microsoft.com/security for personal accounts), delete the old email/alias and re‑add Microsoft Authenticator so approvals are tied to your current address; Authenticator uses what’s registered in Security info, not just your profile email.

If prompts still reference the old address, reset the Authenticator registration (remove the account from the app, then add it again from Security info); for guest access in other orgs, ask that org to remove the stale guest and re‑invite you so MFA re‑registers cleanly
