I connected my Facebook account with Microsoft authenticator app using secret key. And accidentally removed it. Now, I need to recover it. As Facebook is neither giving secret key again to reconnect. Nor allowing to do anything without 2FA as its enabled in my account security settings. Please help

Carolyne 1,151 Reputation points Microsoft Employee2026-03-18T12:39:26.3666667+00:00 You can’t recover the secret or codes from Microsoft Authenticator once the Facebook entry is deleted—your only option is to use Facebook’s account‑recovery flow (identity verification/video selfie or ID) to regain access and then re‑set up 2FA with a new authenticator, as neither Microsoft nor Authenticator can restore third‑party secrets.
