How do I log into Authenticator app after resetting phone?

I have been having trouble logging into the authenticator app with my personal MS account after resetting my phone. I have the correct username and password but when I try to use my Microsoft credentials I get a weird error that says there is a network error, which there clearly is not.

I was going to try to get telephone tech support for this, but was informed by recorded message that I can't get help for this over the phone.

Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
