How do I get rid of the Window selection on the top

How do I get rid of this ANNOYING box on the top of my screen, anytime I drag anything in windows 11, which tries to make it split screen or to my second monitor.

If I want to move it to another monitor, I will drag it there, but it keeps taking things to the wrong screen or making multiple windows.

I do NOT want this on my windows screen, I keep accidently dragging things onto it and its wasting time correcting.

I want to clarify-- ALL SNAP features are OFF, all selections are unchecked, snap is off..

but it's still there.. it is NOT a snap feature, I do not have the snap bar up top.

I have a White Box that opens in the Top Middle of my screen which shows a split screen on one half and my second monitor on the other.

How do I disable this? For over a year now this has been causing my problems with no solution online other than turn SNAP off... Snap features are all off.

Hi,

Thanks for the update, May I ask, Which GPU or graphics driver do you have-Intel, NVIDIA, or AMD-as integrated Intel graphics can sometimes cause this even on systems with another GPU? Do you have any monitor management software installed, like Dell Display Manager, HP Display Assistant, or LG OnScreen Control, that might add window overlays? And does the white box appear on all monitors or just your main one, and only when dragging windows or even at other times?

Regards,

I found the comment about looking for 3rd party software helpful as changing the "Snap Windows" settings in Multitasking didn't work for me. In my case it's something called UltraMon that was adding these buttons at the top of every window:

annoying snap controls Opened UltraMon from the hidden icons in the taskbar then Options->Button and Menu Commands, then unchecking the 'add Move Window Button' and 'add Maximize to Desktop button' got rid of those annoying controls at the top of every window.
