This is Tin, I'll do my best to help. I understand that you're getting error 0xc1900201 when trying to install the latest update of Windows 11. This issue usually occurs when there is not enough space in the EFI partition.

Please click Start menu and type Command prompt, right click on it and hit Run as Admin.

Please copy and paste the command below one by one and hit enter.

mountvol Y: /s

cd /d Y:\EFI\Microsoft\Boot\Fonts

del *.ttf

dir Y:\ /s /a >c:\dir.txt

dir Y:\

I had the same issue. And I tried the given steps by Tina, which surprisingly worked fine. after the steps, I rebooted the laptop and update was resumed with no errors.

(My current Windows 11 version is the Pro version, not Home.)

I tried copying and pasting those commands in an administrator command prompt and they seemed to work fine. But I ended up on the same screen again specifying error code 0xc1900201 and telling me to contact Microsoft for support.

Additionally, after getting that error screen the first time, I tried doing an .iso install, which did not work but left me with a Drive K: which is identified as a CD/DVE drive (K:), which I can't get rid of. Drive Manager lists it as an actual drive but I have no such hardware.

Can you help me delete the K: drive so I can start again from scratch? Or is there a better solution? What should I do from here?
