Authenticator is running me in circles

How do I change my verification methods without needing to use the authenticator app to do so? My authenticator app is making me use itself to sign into itself. I can't, and because of this, I can't login to my email or anything else that uses authenticator. I've tried the troubleshooting tips, but they did not work. I am not sure what to do because when I try to change my verification settings, it needs me to use authenticator to sign in. This all happened because I got a new phone, but my old one is already wiped.
