surface book 3 drains battery even when plugged in while using nvidia gpu

I really want to utilize my Nvidia GPU and when I start using it even when the laptop is plugged in it starts to drain the battery and in an hour or so the battery reaches low levels and this the Nvidia GPU stops working. What ever app that required the GPU crashes and I have to wait another 2 hours for the battery to recharge to full to use the Nvidia gpu

    Possible cause of this if it's performing a task that requires more power than the charger can supply, a common issue with high-performance tasks like gaming or video editing that heavily utilize the dedicated NVIDIA GPU.

    Your battery is likely draining while charging because your device is consuming more power than the charger is supplying.

    For the meantime try to update your Windows and also the Nvidia Drivers.
