Authenticator App Not Working

I recently got a new phone and no longer have access to the old phone. When trying to log into my work email I am prompted to verify through the authenticator app, but nothing pops up for me to enter a code and in most cases I’m already in the app so a code won’t appear. I’ve tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it but it still says i need to enter the pin. I was wondering is there is another way to verify it’s me logging in or if there are other steps I need to take.
