Azure for Students credit activated via GitHub, but no subscription linked

Hello Yellow Orange,

Thanks for posting your question in Microsoft Q&A portal

When you activate the Azure for Students offer through the GitHub Student Developer Pack, it should automatically provision a linked Azure for Students subscription with the $100 credit applied. If you see the credit listed under Education Overview but no subscription appears under Subscriptions, it usually means the subscription creation process didn’t complete properly.

Recommended steps to approach:

1. Sign in directly to the Azure Education Hub

• Go to Education - Microsoft Azure and verify whether the Azure for Students subscription appears there.

2. Look for the Directory Switcher

• In the Azure portal, select your profile icon (top-right) → Switch directory.
• Look for other directories that may contain the Azure for Students subscription.
• Once switched, open Subscriptions again and check if it appears.

3.If the subscription still doesn’t appear

• Go to Azure for Students offer page.
• Sign in with your academic email and try activating the offer again.
• If it shows as already activated but no subscription is linked, it means something went wrong during provisioning.

4.Contact Azure support

• Go to Azure Support for Students
• Choose Billing → Subscription management → Issue with student credit or missing subscription.
• Provide details of your GitHub activation and screenshots (Education Overview showing active credit, Subscriptions page showing none).
• also, you can create support ticket here Help + support - Microsoft Azure

Azure Support can manually link or reprovision the Azure for Students subscription so you can start using your $100 credit.

I hope this helps do let me know if you have any questions.
