My mail account was blocked while traveling abroad. I came back home and I am not able to sign in my mail account. I changed my password, I am able to see mail on the web, but I cannot see it on my McBook. I deleted the mail account and does not install

I have been out of my mail account for 10 days already. I have tried everything, but it asks me to change password and I do not receive the code to move on. It is very frustrating. It makes no sense that my account security does not allow me to login.
