Locked out after pwd Update and in a Infinite loop as Authenticator needs passcode to authenticate.

Recently my AD password needs to be changed due to global org policy to change password every 45 days once.

However for the first time i started seeing after the password update, Authenticator started asking passcode to even authenticate pushing us into an Infinite loop. I have been using Microsoft authenticator based security for past 6 years and this is the first time i saw such an Implementation where to get a passcode i need to authenticate first and that too need passcode and a loop.

This is an Issue Microsoft needs to look into as this is clearly an issue as MFA reset may not be right solution as mentioned by Tech Community for other similar problems posted.
