Authenticator app on moblie does not work after reset

After Authenticator stopped working, i got a message to reset, which I did, could not go through.
I have recovery email, and recovery phone number to get codes, but code is not sent to phone. I am getting various different messages from various support routes (cannot connect to support.microsoft.com) Live Chat Widget. All support routes are useless.
