When a document is saved, it appears that my indexing multiplies involuntarily. Instead of one copy I have numerous. Makes it difficult when making corre.

• Is this happening in Word desktop, web or mobile? 
• Is the document stored locally on your iPhone or iPad? Or iCloud?
• Can you provide a screenshot of the issue (make sure to hide your personal information) if possible?

I dont think so. I have never worked with one drive. no one has introduced that site to me. Should i be using one drive?

No, there is no requirement to use OneDrive, but Microsoft makes it difficult not to use some type of cloud storage, when you are using a mobile device.

If you are saving to OneDrive, note that a Version History is maintained by default. Is that what you are referring to? Or where do you see the duplicates, exactly?

Thank you for the follow up. Yes, there are continued duplications. Once a document is saved the document is saved but there are two and sometimes 3 and 4 saved documents. I don't do anything to activate a 2nd, 3rd or 4th saved document.
