How do I connect my phone to the Phone link! It will not work

Asking this question again as the previous one has gone wrong and my replies do not show. I will continue to do this until my issue is fixed.
How do I connect my phone to the Phone link! It will not work
All I want to do is sign in to my Phone Link on Windows 11. I have tried repeatedly to do so. Whatever I do it asks me to use the authenticator app and gives me a number. I open the authenticator app which then gives me another number and asks me to authenticate it with the authenticator app. I'm already on the authenticator app. Why are you asking me to use you to authenticate you? It doesn't tell me how or work anyway. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO SIGN IN?!
Reinstalling the app does not work, nor can I log in using other methods.
