How do you PERMANENTLY DISABLE PASSWORD ON STARTUP???

Can someone PLEASE tell me how to PERMANENTLY DISABLE PASSWORD ON Windows 11 STARTUP??? No registry edit. No blank MS password. Not a method that then starts asking for a PIN. I was able to disable that..

Sorry for the frustration but it is RIDICULOUS that Microsoft has made this so difficult.

If there is a clear step 1, step 2, step 3 etc. process that works for all Windows 11 devices, please share it.

Hi there! This is Marc. Thanks for reaching out to the community.

You can remove the password prompt at startup by switching to a local account with no password. Here’s how:

  1. Press Win + I to open Settings.
  2. Go to Accounts > Your info.
  3. Select Sign in with a local account instead and follow the prompts.
  4. When creating the local account, leave the password fields blank to have no password.

After that, Windows won’t ask for a password or PIN when you start up.
