Setting up future meetings with participants using Teams calendar or Outlook integration
Hi @C Gibbs,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum and sharing your experience.
To create a hybrid meeting (virtual + in-person) that generates a meeting link and works with your new conference room system, here's how you can do it using Microsoft Outlook and Teams:
- Open Outlook or Microsoft Teams
- Go to the Calendar
- Click New Meeting
- Add:
- Title
- Attendees (both in-person and virtual)
- Location (physical room name)
- Teams Meeting toggle > Make sure this is enabled to generate a meeting link
5. Click Save.
This creates a meeting with:
- A Teams join link
- A Meeting ID (visible in the Teams invite)
- A physical location for in-person attendees.
Thank you again for your patience and for choosing Microsoft Q&A forum. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can assist you with. I’m here to support you every step of the way.
