We have cleared our browser cookies and cache, and the Trust Sender and Show Blocked Content Buttons are still not working. We have opened Outlook in Firefox, Chrome, Edge and Brave Browsers, and the same problem exists.
Microsoft on-premises server product that runs Office Online.

Experiencing the same issue. All mailboxes on our exchange server.
It does work in the background but clicking the buttons does not clear the message - it just eventually disappears on the email an hour or so later.
So Microsoft have yet again broke something.

Here too, not using browser. This is with New Outlook app, windows 11.
Yea already did that, we have checked our outlook on 4 browsers and the same issue continues

Thank you for checking and confirming. I appreciate you taking the time to test this across multiple browsers.
Since the same issue persists even after trying different browsers and if the sender is still not being added to your Safe Senders list, it appears this may be a deeper issue.
At this point, I recommend reporting this directly to Microsoft support in the Outlook app or by visiting Microsoft Feedback Portal, as it may require backend investigation or a fix on their side.

Same issue. See the damning screenshot below. I click "Trust sender", and sometimes, this immediately downloads the images in the current email. Often it does not. After clicking "Trust sender"--and even after adding the sender's domain to the Safe Sender list--then closing and re-opening outlook, I still see the blocked content banner and no downloaded images. The trusted sender behavior for downloading external images is extremely buggy/inconsistent. I wish there was a sweeping option in New Outlook to just download all images automatically, like in Outlook classic.
