Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help!

This issue happens when the printer is not communicating with the PC. To sort out the issue, kindly try to unplug the printer from the PC if you are using a USB to connect it, restart the PC and printer, then reconnect the printer. If you are using it wirelessly, please let me know the make and model of the printer so I can provide you with the steps to fully reinstall the printer driver.

Hi, thank you for that information. In this case, I recommend fully uninstalling the Canon driver, then reinstalling the driver from the Canon website. Kindly follow the steps below:

    To uninstall the driver:

Press the Windows key + R, then type in:

    appwiz.cpl

    Then hit OK

Look for Canon drivers > Right-click, then uninstall each driver.

Once done, restart the PC, then reinstall the Canon driver from the link below:

Thank you for your prompt reply

Yes, IP8760 connected by cable. The printer does not flash because it is not receiving the command. I have tried numerous times to restart everything to no avail.

    Regards

    William
