In my OneNote the field box for "Search Notebooks" positioned itself over the title of the page and I can't move it.

I tried various Display settings and also reset the cache.

Anyone knows how to solve this ?

This entire page sums up my frustration with Microsoft products and support as of late. Half-baked and unnecessary U.I. changes that feel like they were just made for the sake of change followed by responses from support that haven't updated their support material to reflect the change or is not at all related to the issue.

Then again, if Microsoft support teams are fully reliant on OneDrive, Sharepoint, and OneNote, their respective knowledge bases have not synced up and OneDrive is stuck "Looking for Changes".

To create more space for tabs or pages, my suggestion is to move the "search notebooks" function next to the Sticky Notes and Share buttons. There is plenty of space there at most resolutions and it will not hinder the viewing pane in any way.

You should quit giving this pre-typed response. Clearly if you read the comments people have given plenty of examples of (English Language) where the Search Box and/or the drop-down menus block text and or title bars. Your generic response might be considered offensive to some.

    Thx

Placing the "Search Notebooks" in one of the places shown in the picture above and not blocking Notebook real estate.

I find the new placement to be quite annoying!

    Exactly the same problem.
Evidently someone who never uses oneNote on a regular basis decided to change the layout without actually asking real users - again.
Put it back where it was. It now takes up note space and for those of use that use the multi column/free format oneNote is so good at it causes information to be hidden.
It is not conent so it should NOT/NEVER EVER etc be part of the content pane

I have the same issue, the search box hides the title of the page, and it is very disturbing. Please fix it so it goes back to the tabs bar where it was very well place and did not disturb anything for such a long time!
