In my OneNote the field box for "Search Notebooks" positioned itself over the title of the page and I can't move it.

I tried various Display settings and also reset the cache.

Anyone knows how to solve this ?

    I disklike this forced change.
Instead of forcing a change please make a option to change the location. You could even make make a right click option on the search field to say where you want it docked at.

You should quit giving this pre-typed response. Clearly if you read the comments people have given plenty of examples of (English Language) where the Search Box and/or the drop-down menus block text and or title bars. Your generic response might be considered offensive to some.

    Thx

This entire page sums up my frustration with Microsoft products and support as of late. Half-baked and unnecessary U.I. changes that feel like they were just made for the sake of change followed by responses from support that haven't updated their support material to reflect the change or is not at all related to the issue.

Then again, if Microsoft support teams are fully reliant on OneDrive, Sharepoint, and OneNote, their respective knowledge bases have not synced up and OneDrive is stuck "Looking for Changes".

To create more space for tabs or pages, my suggestion is to move the "search notebooks" function next to the Sticky Notes and Share buttons. There is plenty of space there at most resolutions and it will not hinder the viewing pane in any way.

Please have an option to place it on the ribbon. I break my page in 5 columns, and it blocks the top of the 5th column. It creates dead space on your worksheet.

    Thank you
