    thanks for your concern

i found the reason why office family licensing problem occured.

followings are the answers from microsoft.

Title: Some users may be unable to access Microsoft 365 services

User impact: Users with Microsoft 365 Family subscriptions may have been unable to access Microsoft 365 services.

Final status: We reverted the change that was causing impact and refreshed the service-side caching. We’ve confirmed through telemetry that impact was successfully remediated. Users should refresh their browser or restart the application to ensure the client-side caches are updated.

Start time: Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 7:00 AM UTC

End time: Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 6:00 PM UTC

Preliminary root cause: A recent change caused license information to incorrectly populate, leading to impact.

    Next steps:

    • To help prevent similar impact in the future, we're further reviewing our testing and validation processes prior to deployment.

This is the final update for the event.

Why is one of my member in microsoft 365 (family) showed expired, even though it is not due yet?

The issues of Microsoft Familly share on my computer are fixed now,

I'm not doing anything except the update that Microsoft provided.

But now, I have an issue with the drive, it says

"your files have stopped syncing and you will lose access on 7/15/2025 if you don't renew your storage"

Why should I renew the license since I still have time?

    Regards,

    Darma

Yes, there is still an issue. The original issue of shared Microsoft 365 Family subscriptions was fixed. However, now my wife's OneDrive thinks it is on the Free plan and says she is over the storage limit of 5GB. She is supposed to have 1TB.

The Microsoft Account Subscriptions page shows that she has a Microsoft 365 Family subscription (managed by me). Which is correct. But just below that under Microsoft Storage it says that her cloud storage is full (9GB/5GB). Logging into OneDrive, the Plans and Upgrades section says under Current Plan: Free version of Microsoft 365. This is not correct.

Why are Word, Except, PowerPoint etc recognising the subscription but OneDrive is not.

(Strangely enough, during the glitch last week it was the opposite. Word, Excel and PowerPoint lost the subscription but OneDrive kept working normally.)

Microsoft, please fix this. We are paying the subscription, we expect it to work.
