I have a Microsoft 365 Family Classic account using ******@outlook.com. This is active, is working fine, and is next due for subscription in 2026
I have previously invited family member ******@outlook.com to a subscription under the family account. This has worked fine for years, but this morning showed as subscription expired.
When I log into ******@outlook.com, the account tab shows “Your Microsoft 365 Family subscription has expired”. It then offers me opportunities to renew this – either with a Family subscription or with an individual personal subscription.
If I try to re-invite ******@outlook.com to my current family subscription, it wont allow me to, telling me that I am already invited. I cannot find a way to de-invite Member so that I can then resubscribe.
In summary, I have an invited subscriber to an active and valid Microsoft 365 which is showing as expired, and I cannot resolve this. Any ideas?
Edit: there is a service update from MS here: https://portal.office.com/servicestatus

Same issue here with my family members. They show as active subs in the management portal but on their respective apps get the pop up to renew licensing . Has been operating successfully for months and just pooped with this error over the past day.
I have the same problem
Does Microsoft have an update on this matter?
Having the same issue here in Malaysia with my Microsoft 365 Family subscription One of my family members show subscription expired for local installed MS Office apps.
