The read-aloud voice used to be a very smooth speaking female voice and overnight it changed to a robotic voice. When I go into the settings it says I have to be signed in to change the voice. I am signed in. I tried signing out and resigning in deleting the app and reinstalling but it still says the same thing. I am using an Android with the mobile app. I was originally using just the word doc connected to my OneDrive I've even tried the Microsoft 365 app still same results. How do I get the old voice back?

Me too! The nice voice (Sonia) is available on Narrator but doesn't appear in Read Aloud. It is extremely annoying!
Having the same issue. The last time this occurred the only way to fix it was to reinstall the OS by resetting my system to default (do not save anything and when installing do not recover settings). Then reinstall everything. This should not be a yearly chore.

Microsoft Copilot 365 by clicking on your avatar in the upper left corner, clicking "Send Feedback", and selecting "Report a Problem".
I click on my avatar but it doesn't give me the option anywhere to Send Feedback, and report a problem.
If you are in MS Word on desktop, open a blank document. Then you go to "Help" on top left of the menu bar after "View". Next, there should be an icon labeled "Feedback".
I had the same voice change today, and I cannot log into my Microsoft account.
