Syncing issues with OneDrive shared folders

After several anxious weeks, the folders shared with me and by me have become available in Explorer again. The "message elsewhere from a Microsoft insider explaining that this problem has been caused by Microsoft migrating user data. Shared folders do not work if they are in a different location from the user they are being shared with. As the migration gradually completes, shared folders become available again." appears to be correct,

Did it also become available on the mobile app too?

And by any chance, did you do anything differently? Reach out to any one in particular?

I did nothing except review this thread and keep checking the state of play. Yes - the shared data is available on the phone also. I noticed it on the phone first then I noticed that, in Windows, the Onedrive icon in the system tray was reporting tens of thousands of sync operations required. It took several hours to complete the syncs on each Windows device. (I changed my power settings to stop my device going to sleep so it could complete more quickly.) Very frustrating but it appears that there is hope for all of us !

Great news: today, after two months, access to shared folders in Explorer has been restored!:)

Did you do anything to get the shared folders back on your local copy or did they just re-appear? Asking because I'm still missing mine
