Syncing issues with OneDrive shared folders

I have suddenly lost the sync function to 2 important shared folders (ones shared with other people) My other folders and files (not shared) are fine. How can I fix it? For some reason, the folders have been sent to my recycle bin, but I cannot restore them.

    I have the same issue. Began today, February 28th. All of "My Files" are synced to my computer except any that are shortcuts from Shared Files. The names were not changed. The access on my computer simply said Access does not exist.

    As others have expressed, this is very frustrating and disruptive to our workflow. We have become dependent on using the file access to the shared files and working online is not a viable option.

    PLEASE FIX ASAP!

    Likewise on the 24th Feb. OneDrive deleted the bulk of my desktop folders that were sync'd with OneDrive shared folders.

    I have backups, but I can no longer sync with a shared folder.
    Totally trashes my workflow with no convenient workaround.
    Interestingly I have an Android app (One Sync pro) that allows me to sync my One Drive folders with my phone storage. I set it up with a shared folder and it worked for a couple of mins copying files across then it suddenly failed and could not find the shared folder any longer.

    The most frustrating thing is that Microsoft provides no way of notifying people when these things are finally fixed.

    February, 26: I've been having this problem since 20 February!

    OneDrive folders shared with me just disappeared from explorer on my PC.

    Using the previous method of "Add Shortcut to My Files" (online) simply adds an URL shortcut in Explorer that forces me to open shared folders on an internet browser.

    Alternatively, I have to go to "View online" (opens an internet browser) and go to "Shared" to access the shared folders, but now:

    1. I can't use sync software to update my local files, but have to download into another folder;
    2. The downloads take long and are all in .zip files;
    3. Some downloads simply fail!
    4. I have to right click and choose "open in App" just to open a shared file.

    We've come to trust and depend on OneDrive to share our company's bank statements quickly and efficiently and hope to see this issue resolved very soon or at the very least some feedback provided by Microsoft.

    I have the smae problem. The last Windows update has messed up a lot of the Onedrive capabilites. Please fix asap!
