Syncing issues with OneDrive shared folders

I have suddenly lost the sync function to 2 important shared folders (ones shared with other people) My other folders and files (not shared) are fine. How can I fix it? For some reason, the folders have been sent to my recycle bin, but I cannot restore them.

    Anyone else have issues with specific files not updating? I had a user today with a Shared Folder suddenly not synching. He's got a copy on his local machine with the shared folder name plus the name of the machine but not the shared folder. Online, both folders show.

    Earlier this month I've had a couple instances of files that were stored in shared folders being updated but the changes did not show up on the shared folder. Sounds like they could be related.

    Hi Peter,

    No as mine on my laptop still are not back. Everything is fine on the app and web. I understand Microsoft are migrating data but not sure how long it will take.

    Did you do anything to get the shared folders back on your local copy or did they just re-appear? Asking because I'm still missing mine

    Great news: today, after two months, access to shared folders in Explorer has been restored!:)

    I did nothing except review this thread and keep checking the state of play. Yes - the shared data is available on the phone also. I noticed it on the phone first then I noticed that, in Windows, the Onedrive icon in the system tray was reporting tens of thousands of sync operations required. It took several hours to complete the syncs on each Windows device. (I changed my power settings to stop my device going to sleep so it could complete more quickly.) Very frustrating but it appears that there is hope for all of us !
