we have fix to onedrive shortcut on file explorer

OK. I finally created another network location, but I'm still getting this when I try to login:

Thesite for this location IS in my trusted sites.

Argh!!!!

This is not working for me.

When I try to create a newtwork drive, I get this response (the site is listed in my trusted sites):

The link I am using in either case works fine if I paste it into my browser. And earlier, I was able to create a drive and a location, but then I couldn't access them.

If anyone has any thoughts on what I might do, I'd sure appreciate any pointers.

This is nuts. I'm trying to share with family members, so these onedrive locations are different user accounts on the same onedrive account.If the problem is with the new account types, it is double nuts. You'd think that MS would migrate family accounts together.

Jason, this worked for me! I lost all connections to our Microsoft 365 shared folders yesterday after an update. Like others, I could only create shortcuts to the URL...and I NEVER use OneDrive using the web browser, I always use it on my PC. This bug created a complete mess as this is how me manage our household and investments. Your solution worked for me. I also tested out adding and deleting documents to see if changes would be reflected online and vice-versa, and they were.

Now if only Microsoft would provide a proper fix to this issue, it would save us all a lot of headache and wasted time. I've lost a ton of productivity on this.

Somehow I manage to fix this issue as I faced same pattern of yours.

My life is becoming miserable due to Onedrive Shared Folder File as they are not fixing the explorer issue. I also added the Customise Network Location 5 days ago as just mentioned in the thread and after 2 days the map drive was not accessing despite entering proper details "MicrosoftAccount/(MYEMAILADDRESS)"

Firstly I deleted all the previous Customise Network Location that I added.

Then i opened the Office Uploader Center and searched for any "Pending upload" and "All cached file" that linked to the d.docs.live.net/(mynetworkadress). I cleared the cached files and make sure that there is no pending upload and paused the Upload (I resumed it later after fixing the issue)

Then I went to Credential Manager. Under the tab "Generic Credentials", I removed the Credential related to OneDrive that were created or modified in past 5 days (as I added Network Location 5 days ago for the first time) till today.

NOTE: (I could also see the credentials of "MicrosoftAccount/(MYEMAILADDRESS)" also modified today which I was attempting previously in "MicrosoftAccount/(MYEMAILADDRESS)". So I removed that too.)

Then I again reattempted to Add Network Location and this time the login details popped up without showing "MicrosoftAccount/(MYEMAILADDRESS)" in the User Name. There was only User Name and Password blank in a dialog.

Then I entered my Email Address and Password just like we login our normal mail from browser.

And it was a sigh of relief to see the folders in Explorer just OneDrive used to be in the past.

I think I should not tick the "Remember Credential" while entering Username and Password & should go through Office Uploader for any pending upload and Cached files to avoid again such issue.

I am not a Geek but if any one wants to ask related to above matter, I will try my best to explain.

Thank you for sharing this information. I was facing this issue of getting URL Shortcut in my onedrive. I has followed this instructions shown above, and was able to map the drive. But the Map Drive was showing a complete Onedrive of my college instead of only showing the shared folder. And also the Map Drive was only showing the files but i cannot open any of the files and once i close the Map Drive, i cannot open it again as was showing error about the access to the folder.

The solution seems to be too complicated.
I request Microsoft to look into this matter or else they will loose the genuine users very soon.
