Our outlook calendar looks fine in outlook but the shared link (html) that we use on our website is showing the calendar as 1899. We have not made any changes to our website so can only assume Microsoft has made some kind of update that has caused this?. How do we rectify or get Microsoft to resolve the issue?
If you click on Today then that takes you to the view that users should be seeing but obviously our users will not know to do that (and why should they)
Just to add to this, if you copy the shared html link from outlook and paste into the browser, the issue is replicated without going via our website so the issue looks likely to be a Microsoft Outlook one?

This is utter rubbish :), why should thousands of people have to make a change to sort out a MS problem!!, You are correct ridiculous!!
The support at Microsoft is so ridiculous. For those who can read French, this is a response that have been provided. For me, it didn't make any sense... But if someone has any explanation ...

Hier, j'ai escaladé votre demande au plus haut niveau et voici leur retour:
Le calendrier sur Outlook en ligne affiche l'année 1899, Cela se produit parce qu'il doit y avoir une colonne de temps dans l'une des tables. Les alternatives sont :
Une des causes de ce problème est que le système interprète la colonne de temps comme Date Time pour une raison quelconque. Peut-être essayez de convertir cette colonne en décimal juste pour voir si c'est bien ce qui ne va pas (changer la colonne de temps en décimal).
Enfin, une dernière solution est de lancer le lien du calendrier partagé, de cliquer sur "Aujourd'hui" dans le calendrier, puis de copier/coller le lien URL sur le lien partagé existant. Une fois que vous lancez l'URL mise à jour, il atterrit sur la date d'aujourd'hui.
Veuillez essayer ces étapes et tenez-moi au courant des résultats.

I have got it to work by doing 10 seconds update intervals of the Calendar link in the browser.
Before we had 3 minutes and it seemed to forget the year when updating with that interval.
Since we decreased to 10 seconds it has worked well again.
Important to stress that I am updating the link with an add-on within the browser (Tab Auto Update)
Before we closed down the browser and opened everything from scratch. That does not work with any interval.
Hopefully Microsoft can fix this ASAP so we can skip workarounds.
This worked for me, Can't guarantee it works for you.
Same issue still happening as of 2/16/2025. Regardless of the publish link used, the initial date is from 1899.
Anybody heard anything more on this, 7+ days seems a ridiculously long time for this issue to still be ongoing?
