I have the same issue. Tried workarounds, but they were actually "notworkarounds". Come on Microsoft!

I have a number of folders shared with me by other OneDrive users. I've added these to My Files to appear alongside the folders on my OneDrive account. Up until yesterday, they appeared as folders on my PC, alongside the other folders which belong to my OneDrive account. Now these folders that are shared with me are appearing as shortcut links instead of folders on my PC.
This has happened to 3 different PCs which are all connected to the same OneDrive account. I have uninstalled OneDrive, cleared the cache, etc. and reinstalled on one PC, but the problem remains. I've removed shared folders, had them unshared by the owner, reshared back to me, and then added again to My Files, but this didn't work either.
How do I fix this?

Can we get an ETA on this? I think we all want to make sure this bug is taken seriously!
Same problem facing since more than 1 month now. Its surprising & shame ful that a giant IT company like Microsoft is unable to resolve it . People are having this issue since past 1 year also. just read in one of the posts.

How far are you on the solution? Because this is not a problem that’s only existed since yesterday, it’s been around for quite some time. We pay good money for your services but when part of the services are not working it’s a very bad experience.
This is a huge inconvenience for families as well as businesses, you can’t be taken seriously if you can’t come up with a solution in such a long time. Come on do better and keep us posted on the status!
Hi everyone,
I’m also experiencing the same issue with shared folders in OneDrive showing up as .url shortcuts instead of regular folders. This started happening on both my Windows and Mac devices at the same time, which makes me suspect that this is a broader issue with OneDrive itself rather than my individual setup.
I’ve tried various solutions, including reinstalling OneDrive, adjusting sync settings, and following the workarounds mentioned here, but nothing has resolved the problem. It’s causing a lot of inconvenience for my workflow, and I hope Microsoft addresses this soon.
If anyone finds a reliable solution or hears of progress from Microsoft, please share!"
