onedrive search bar not working in any device.

After trying all these fixes the search is still not working for me as well.

Wow, this is crazy. I thought it was just me and did some resets but when Search did not work on phone app or Website, I went looking and found this thread. Microsoft is crazy unresponsive and their stock answer is frustratingly condescending. Time to start thinking about another Cloud Storage I guess since Microsoft clearly does not care about its customers one little bit. :-(

Dear Onedrive PM at Microsoft,

please treat this product defect more serious. The fact that search in OneDrive (consumer version) is unexpectedly broken (i.e. the respective MS Graph API does not return any data, so search is broken on all devices/apps) has brought me personally into a critical situation: I couldn't find past medical records (that I had archived in OneDrive so that I can access them on any device) during an emergency situation. So I couldn´t answer important questions when I was in ER.

I am sure some of the other people who have been commenting here had their very own bad experiences when they found out that their OneDrive had become a blackbox. Like unable to find the PDF with the flight ticket or hotel booking, etc.

Please, please, please do:

• A) inform your users proactively about the product defect (i.e. banner message in the OneDrive WebUI, mobile apps, etc with link to a KB article or so). This at least allows users to better deal with the situation and avoid unexpected time sensitive situations.
• B) give a clear ETA when this defect will be fixed

(I will also do my best and bring this to the attention of the press and I encourage others here to do the same - go ahead and report this problem and the poor support responses to computer magazines, tech news websites, etc).

Microsoft cannot find a simple fix for a search issue. It's just unbelievable. Well, I can't continue paying for something that doesn't work. Good luck everyone. My patience has run out with Microsoft. Google drive and Linux here I come! :)
