onedrive search bar not working in any device.

Microsoft cannot find a simple fix for a search issue. It's just unbelievable. Well, I can't continue paying for something that doesn't work. Good luck everyone. My patience has run out with Microsoft. Google drive and Linux here I come! :)

Someone found a simple fix: Change Password.

I didn't change my password (using 2-factor authentication anyway) but I "changed my first name and last name" and search is back ...

Maybe a logout and logging in again will do the trick as well?

Looks like it has to do something to do with the "Microsoft Account" ...

It is just crazy that it took months ...

I am not having that specific issue. My folder sizes are displaying correctly in the app. However, the search functionality in my app is not fully fixed. Previously, my search functionality didn't work at all. Every search returned "no results". Now some searches work, but others don't. Microsoft still has work to do.

It looks like search is working, but now all my folders show 0KB in size, even those with more than 1GB of files. Individual files that are not in a folder show their actual size.

Can you, or anyone else, check if they have the same issue with folders not showing their size.

I can confirm that the problem appears to be resolved for me, too. (Search in OneDrive web interface returns results again).
