The worst feeling, I always get is by saying sorry to a customer who came to seek help just like you and I couldn't help due to such helpless situation.
Upon reading your response, it seems files in shared folders added as shortcut are visible as internet shortcut in File Explorer. You can see and access them online. Please do correct us in case we are wrong.

Unfortunately, at this time, we do not have a specific date for when the fix will be released. Our team is working diligently to address this issue.
In the meantime, we have identified a workaround that may help you continue your work without significant disruption. You can access the folder online, which should allow you to bypass the issue until a permanent fix is implemented.
