It's interesting that the email sent out does not say that this is happening because of Co-Pilot, nor does it say if you want to keep your previous price subscription switch to the classic plan.

I switched immediately. But what value am I getting if no one I know uses the plan but me? What is my money going towards?

Either way, if switching was an option, why not say it explicitly in the email, instead of having me think I was going to have to lose all the apps in order to cancel? I was already looking at other options besides Microsoft.

I'm in Canada too. The switch worked seamlessly. The main issue is that they didn't tell us about this immediately in the email.

Click on cancel, and then there's an option to switch over.

    Hi there,

In my opinion this is really shameful and just reflects corporate greed!

Why not sell it as an option instead of forcing it on all subscriptions?

What about those that benefit from a 30% discount with the ~partner program~ discount code? (don't remember the exact name)

Price was 48,30€ instead of 69 and now it's 69.30 with the discount? 21€ for 60 AI Credits... OK...

I do not want, nor do I use the AI features. I mostly use it for OneDrive, I might as well just switch to a dedicated cloud storage solution..

The Office Apps were just a plus and great to have but really not a must with all the different alternatives available as well.

What grace period do I have to take everything out of my account if the subscription is not renewed?

    Thanks
