Why has there been a 50% increasing the price of Microsoft 365 Personal? This is an extraordinary increase and unaffordable for most people .

It’s because we’re paying for all the big business who is still paying the low rate. All you have to do is look it up. I did. I’m on the family plan.. I hate to say you gotta look things up now because everybody’s lying look how much it’s gone up everywhere our iPhones or smart phone then the apps you put on there you have to pay for I remember when you had to pay once now you have to pay a whole bunch of money for the device and with that device you have to pay a monthly subscription and we just continue to do it. They tell us what to pay and we pay it isn’t the price of electronics great as soon as my stuff is done I’m not re-buying can’t afford it when you’re mom was beat while you were in her stomach and you don’t have strong academic skills and an injured veteran. You just can’t afford it and that’s sad or they take something away. That’s been there since they first started and that one thing was helping you communicate because they wanna make money off of it and sell apps. I’m just saying.

I had the same issue, but through google play, also did not have the classic plan option. I cancelled the subscription on google. Once the "service" ended, the classic plan option appeared on my account subscription page & managed to subscribe successfully to the classic plan.

I bought my subscription through Apple which I have now cancelled due to the price hike. My only option on Apple is to renew the hiked subscription.

On the Microsoft site I see nothing about a classic plan. Is this only available in certain countries.

Should I just get the cheap business plan at £4.40 a month?

So we have to pay 50% more because you want to launce more products that we dont need!, Time to cancel

My cost has doubled here in Canada. When I signed up, it was "on sale" which locks in my renewal at that lower price of $69.99 for a family plan. The new plan is $145...more than double!

This is ridiculous.

I'm also responsible for my company's corporate plan and this increase will force us to go look at Google Workspace again.

I'm not sure why Microsoft is trying SO hard to shoot themselves in the foot and drive all of their customers away, but they're doing a bang-up job of it!
