Today, I turned on Onenote, and it notified me that it had Copilot update.

Now, every time I click in Onenote, it shows this annoying Copilot icon next to cursor:

How do I remove it?

Thank you.

Your suggestion doesn’t work in OneNote and is misleading. Read the question in its entirety before replying

Question is, does Microsoft use these data without our approval? There must be an AI involved somewhere.

Or, we could all feed it huge amounts of junk, making the AI behind the scenes go haywire.

30 years ago, this would be dystopian novel material.

"switching OSes" is non-trivial. If you pull the trigger please share resources.

OneNote has been a key to my workflows for several years. Not excited at the prospect of replacing it but not inclined to continue to be subjugated by my CoPilot overlords.

I'm so appalled by the intrusion of this unwanted slop machine into an app I've been using since 2012.

Now working out how to completely eliminate Microsoft from my workflow.
