Remove copilot icon that appears when I click in Onenote

Dear Microsoft Agent / Moderator, I think Microsoft representative could put this issue to Microsoft. This is general issue most visible in OneNote. Copilot should be present when user asks it for not suggesting all the time to use it. Nowadays there are so many unnecessary interruptions coming like information about new features and asking feedback etc. I want to concentrate and not being interrupted. These should be productivity tools.

OneDrive is the spawn of Satan. I sat and watched it suck all my documents from My Documents folder and put them all over the place.

And it changes the default save locations of many programs.

Aside from the time spent simply finding my files, it completely destroyed my backup scheme.

and the damn thing tries to reinstall itself with every update. It is pure evil.

Now, back to our regularly scheduling program of CoPilot nausea.

I wanted to be able to use the collapse feature that happens when "Meeting Details" are pasted into OneNote where there is a carrot > that you click on to callops and expand like you would with the "gripper icon" that the Copilot Icon has hijacked this week. I have been copying and pasting that outlook carrot > (have to copy the whole line and part of next for it to work) on all my pages for at least my highest level as its cleaner than using the gripper icon. I am not happy to have to now expand this "trick" to all levels of my outlines as I callops so much content on a daily basis being a project manager in meetings as I only want attendees to see the higher levels. This is VERY problematic for me!

Wanted to share this workaround for those who need to have something at least while figuring out what to do. I have also seen a keyboard shortcut to callops yet I couldn't get it to work (alt +/-) or something like that.

I hate to break it to you…. Open a new document in Word or Powerpoint. Copilot icon appears in all of them now.

I stopped using Onedrive for photos because of the non-removable For You section. I will stop using Onenote because of the non-removable Copilot-button next to cursor. That simple.
