Thanks very much! I'm running the same version but don't have that 'Copilot' setting in Options for some reason! Hopefully I'll get it soon.

Today, I turned on Onenote, and it notified me that it had Copilot update.
Now, every time I click in Onenote, it shows this annoying Copilot icon next to cursor:
How do I remove it?
Thank you.

I've uninstalled the Copilot app from Windows, disabled it in Administrative Group policies, and disabled it in the Office365 programs' Account/Account Privacy/Connected Experiences settings .... and this trash is still showing up! Get this distracting invasive trash LLM off my machine! I don't need it, don't want it, don't trust it, and didn't agree to receive it. I've disabled it every way listed officially, and a few suggested by the internet hivemind, and it's still dug in. What exactly is it going to take to get this **** actually gone? Switch to Linux maybe? If Microsoft refuses to respect the consumer's expectation, nay demand, for privacy from unwanted and distracting LLMs, they will leave. Tell me how to actually remove this **** from the basic functional office Software that I paid for and want, or I'll simply start by cancelling my Microsoft subscription and installing OpenOffice (for free!) to do the same thing without the distracting digital spyware built in.
Thank you for this information. I will be canceling my Microsoft 365 subscription now.
IMO: A typical symptom of incompetence in Win32 programming. The result of trying to kill OneNote 2016 a few years ago. The owners of the know-how are gone.

I agree, this is the most unnecessary and annoying thing they could have done. Also the copilot that comes with the personal 365 is useless. Can't properly summarize notes, can't make overview guides, can't make diagrams. Like if it could just make a flowchart i'd keep it but its not a useful in app ai.
