How can I find the folder on my computer that is actually on my PC hard drive and not on One Drive?

Thanks but I am trying to remove my duplicates - except I want to select the folder on my actual computer, *not* my OneDrive and yet it's masking it as OneDrive, there is no way to select my actual folder on my pc, why? I want to back it up on hard drive because I don't trust OneDrive. How can I find the folder on my computer that are actually on my PC hard drive and *not* One Drive?

You must right-click your OneDrive folder and select "Always keep on this device" to get copies of the OneDrive files on your computer.

Then, you can turn off the sync at OneDrive Settings > Sync and Backup > Manage Backup, which will enable you to remove folders from the OneDrive folder and put them back in File Explorer.

This seems to be a fault in one drive at the moment. Sync files that are showing the cloud status icon are reporting the same size on cloud as on local disk. This is causing mayhem with disk space for my clients with new installs. No problem with machines synced a few months ago. This needs to be addressed by Microsoft ASAP.

There is a "Size" and a "Size on Disk". With Files On-Demand cloud-only files, the "Size on Disk" should be zero or close to zero.

Thank you, I did that but there are still issues with syncing with OneDrive, it can never finish and also none of the upgrade options work - ie: 200GB for $2/mo. I used Easy Duplicate Finder to try to find my duplicate files from various backups and have one clean "file structure" of my data on my C hard drive with an optional backup to OneDrive (which I don't trust very much for obvious reasons). But my OneDrive is 1TB and my C drive has 908GB of 1.84T freed now it so I'll probably be a little over 1TB once I finish the cleanup. The documents are very sentimental so I am moving the duplicates over to an external hard SSD drive so as to ensure I don't lose anything. But my OneDrive syncing is still stuck, it's saying that it has 581GB of storage which is clearly wrong as it should be 932GB obviously. Please help. Thanks, Paulina

I don't know what is causing the problem. I suggest you Email the OneDrive support team. They can look into your account to see if there are any problems with your subscriptions, etc.
