How to disable or remove Copilot from Word (there is a solution - check 2nd edit)

If you had, you would have read the many negative comments on Copilot regarding Editing, Proofreading, from literary writers and those in the education system. Also mentioned in the comments is Plagiarism, as you do not know where Copilot has sourced its content from.

If yourself, and others use Copilot, that's fine, but allow others who not want Copilot the ability to either turn it off or better, remove it from Office 365.

Are you real or are you employed by Microsoft. Read the comments. It may deliver all of the features you mention above BUT there are users out there who do not want these features and Microsoft MUST give users the ability to disable this feature. Personally I do NOT trust Microsoft. What is this feature really doing behind the scenes? Is it secretly recording all we are doing? Google and Facebook are known for allowing false information to be posted. So I am asking where is Copilot sourcing the information it wants to share with us to help us? Sorry mate you are on a different planet. Microsoft MUST implement a way to disable this feature ASAP.

I dont need any of these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Retired, only writing books etc, dont need this bloody stupid thing. Get it gone, or allow disable. Or I will cancel altogether !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats great for people not using Microsoft office for academic work where the use of AI becomes academic misconduct. It is not that I am against AI, I am against it being forced upon us. This is a drama I certainly do not need while studying to get my degree.
