Send to Onenote does not transfer the Outlook appointment title

In Outlook I select a calendar event and use the "Send to OneNote" from either the ribbon or right-click on the event. It behaves the way it traditionally has and prompts me for a location in OneNote. The Location, Link to Outlook Item, Invitation Message, and Participants are all copied over from Outlook. However, the Title is missing every single time. I've tested this on dozens of different calendar invites.

How do I restore OneNote receiving the Title information from Outlook?

Thank you for reporting this issue. This has been fixed: Page Title is blank when you send a meeting from classic Outlook to OneNote - Microsoft Support

Here are the minimum build numbers where the fix is available, depending on your update channel. You can find your build and channel by going to File > Account in OneNote.

  • Beta Channel:  Version 2412 (Build 18319.15010 )
  • Current Channel Preview:  Version 2412 (Build 18324.20000)
  • Current Channel:  Version 2411 (Build 18227.20114)
  • Monthly Enterprise Channel:  Version 2410 (18129.20220)

Same here. I end up having to copy/paste the meeting title onto the One Note page.

This seems helpful but my Enterprise's version below looks aligned to the last bullet in your list yet I still have the problem:

    Our version: Microsoft® OneNote® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2410 Build 16.0.18129.20200) 64-bit

    Hi DPearce,

I thought so too but I took a second look. The last 5 digits are 20220.

In your build it is 20200.

I am in the same position as you.

    BR,

    Jim
