I opened my onedrive app on my phone but I can now only see photo files, there is no obvious way to switch to see my files. How do I see my regular folders and files? Thank you.

Thanks, I'll re-install it and try it. What a colossal waste of my time!

The App layout is poorly designed.

At the very top you have:

    (Portrait) Photos Files

    Gallery Albums Favorites

The heading "Files" is greyed out and looks like an inactive heading or a deactivated control in most design languages.

The labeled icons "Gallery Albums Favorites" catch the eye and look like the only active controls.

I think most people primarily use Onedrive for file storage and think photo storage is a minor subset of that.

For some reason, the designers decided the app should open in photos mode!

By the comments on this page many people are being caught out with this design flub.

I hope this helps and I hope Microsoft improve the interface.

Nxt time please be straight to the point mentioning there is a UI Changes from Microsoft.

look at the top, now we should see two wording "Photos Files", OneDrive mobile now defaulted view to Photos, clicking on Files should redirect user's to the files page.

dont post some standard respond with an non-relevant link (people are asking about mobile and you post a desktop FAQ) and expect people to understand or mark yours respond as helpful.

    be relevant
