When in Chats in Teams we used to copy conversations and paste them into other docs. This brought across name/date and chat text.
Now when we do this it only brings across the text; name/date are missing. This causes issues for us as we cannot keep accurate records.
Has this facility been changed/withdrawn in an update? Is there a workaround?

AGREED! How is this possible. Why would COPY/PASTE be an option to NOT include in any app?
As a technician working a helpdesk, I quite often rely on private Teams chats for rapid communications with customers.
The fact that I cannot copy & paste content from the chat, into a format that is readable, into our ticketing system (or any application for that matter) for audit purposes is very frustrating.
Microsoft needs to step out of their echo-chamber, start listening to feedback from customers and implement basic features such as these.
Implement? it was there. They just removed it and made our work life a lot worse.
I honestly tried living without the proper copy function but it's inexcusable and I really really want to find whoever just decided that it's a good idea to remove such a vital function and take their kpi down a notch or two for approving that malicious update.
Please stop accepting answers like "I don't have strong feelings about this update" as approval and add the function as optional.
Not just "take their performance rating down" but kick them out. That change was outrageous, but even more outrageous (though totally expected) is that there's been no reaction from MS. Monopolies are bad...
