When in Chats in Teams we used to copy conversations and paste them into other docs. This brought across name/date and chat text.
Now when we do this it only brings across the text; name/date are missing. This causes issues for us as we cannot keep accurate records.
Has this facility been changed/withdrawn in an update? Is there a workaround?

If this was designed as a step toward more secure information, they should at the very least allow users and/or organization decide if they want this feature enabled or not.
And by the way, we can still alter message content by taking a screen capture and altering the message in MSPaint. Will they also remove access to take screen captures of Teams chat windows now?
+1 on this issue also - was a useful feature!
Thank you, this is a good solution. However, one can do this for a single message only. The need is to often copy a whole thread... It just sounds like MS is laughing at the users.
..... the only time consuming flaw with the "Forward" hack is it can only work on one response at a time. I used to highlight entire conversations and copy them. Now I have to do it one response at a time. So..... 30 seconds now becomes 2 minutes. Multiple by a day of cruical IM conversations.
