Teams Chat - copy/paste

When in Chats in Teams we used to copy conversations and paste them into other docs. This brought across name/date and chat text.

Now when we do this it only brings across the text; name/date are missing. This causes issues for us as we cannot keep accurate records.

Has this facility been changed/withdrawn in an update? Is there a workaround?

This is totally unacceptable. I cannot believe that there is not much demand for the old setting. I have spoken to many users and IT Tech and majority are at a loss why this facility has been taken away and want it back.

MS must reconsider this change and bring back the cut/paste the old way. Maybe they can make the name/date optional; let the people choose.

The message is loud and clear - WE WANT IT BACK.

Bring back the option please, for those of us using it for documentation in ticketing systems.

Is there any way to restore the old functionality (copying the msgs AND the names and timestamp)? I can't believe there were users who did not like this feature. Why can't MS give users two options, "old" and "new"?

Please bring back the old copy paste option as it is required to capture times and when we respond to users and record our SLA times. This is a most important feature which is required.

I don't understand why someone would not want such a feature. I believe every other chat application has this feature why remove this from teams.
