In Excel, how do I remove the Quick Access pane in the File Save interface?

The quick access pane is providing links that I do not have write access to and never save to, and I need the 'Browse' folder option at the bottom, which I now have to use the scroll bar in order to select. This is adding extra steps and reducing efficiency, so I would like to remove the Quick Access pane.

I agree, this option is worthless and needs to either go away or have the ability to disable.

Same complaint for me! Need the BROWSE at the top. DO NOT WANT TO SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM FOR MY BROWSE! Quick access options not needed, and I work in too many file locations for this to be helpful. PLEASE ALLOW THIS AS AN OPTION TO DISABLE!

This is extremely unhelpful, and like someone else said, it causes unnecessary mistakes due to years of built up muscle memory. If anything, there should be a "Collapse" option for this new Quick Access section. Thank you to the other user for the workaround with the Save As in the quick options toolbar!

This was already unchecked, and checking it and unchecking it does now solve the issue. Thanks.
