Why is there a price increase in Office 365 annual subscription? Am I getting some new stuff? I'm in Malaysia.

My earlier price was below MYR300, but now it's above. :(

That is not a price increase .... it's downright thievery. A 28% increase ,,,, I wish MY income was increased by that! I guess it's time to ditch Micro$oft and look open source or basically ANYONE else for a better deal.. Yeah, like MS need more money from subscriptions. It's bad enough they changed to an annual subscription, so you don't even own the software. Just a mechanism to keep charging you and increasing the price year after year until you can no longer afford it!

I am planning to take this up with the government authorities to see if there is any legitimacy to the price hike by Microsoft. And yes, I too wish that my paycheck increased by the amount Microsoft has increased the subscription. But I did manage to get it at a lower price from a Microsoft reseller. And Lotus's supermarket Malaysia was advertising this at RM135 per year, which is much better than Microsoft pricing.

I remember switching from Lotus Notes 40 to 50 years ago.

Now I'm switching to Libre Office.

I don't need copilot, or AI. I didn't ask for them, and I'm definitely not paying for them.

I'm 80, on a pension, I don't need a co-pilot in my life, and my own intelligence has served very well thank you!

My loyalty to Microsoft is not being reciprocated.

    So, goodbye!

Do you know that I found the price increase notification email in my junk folder?

Do you think it’s a mistake that Microsoft’s system flagged its own email as junk, or could it be intentional?

Either way, it’s amusing—either it’s a blunder or a subtle way for Microsoft to announce price hikes.

The worst thing about this is that Microsoft didn't even bother to advise me of the increase. No email - even in my spam box. The first I heard about the price increase was when I saw the charge in my bank account. Disgusting lack of customer service. No customer loyalty at all.
